Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) is the man who should fill the void left by POTUS recently ditching large portion of his base.
“The Massie Revolution,” a new hour-long documentary by Dissident Media, focuses on Congressman Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) carrying on the legacy of longtime Texas Congressman Ron Paul and what the future of the Libertarian/Republican/Constitutional “liberty movement“ holds.This film begins by contrasting Massie’s rise in popularity among the Libertarian-leaning faction of the GOP with President Donald Trump’s bizarre hatred for the well liked Kentucky Republican.
President Trump first publicly opposed Thomas Massie in March 2020, criticizing him as a “third rate grandstander” when he tried to delay the $2.2 trillion CARES Act in the House.
POTUS then reversed course in May 2022 by endorsing Massie for re-election and praising him as a “conservative warrior” who staunchly defends the Constitution. However, the brief period of support did not last long as Trump again turned against Massie in 2025, starting a years-long crusade against the congressman and backing his primary challenger in the 2026 midterm primary.
Trump’s newfound opposition to Massie came after the GOP rep. supported a full release of the Epstein files and repeatedly criticized Israel’s influence over U.S. politicians and policies.
The documentary also touched on Massie’s actions during the COVID-19 pandemic, where he pushed back against lockdowns, vaccine mandates and other authoritarian measures.
The Israel/U.S. war with Iran initiated another point of contention between Massie and Trump, with the former opposing military action in the Middle East nation. Another phase of the film highlighted Massie’s background and home life where he lives on a farm in a house he built with his bare hands using his engineering knowledge to maintain his property.
Later, several prominent figures featured in the film promoted the idea of Massie picking up where Ron Paul left off and taking the lead of the liberty movement that was recently discarded, shunned and spit on by President Trump.
The disillusioned faction of MAGA is looking for someone to run for President in 2028 who might actually stay loyal to their anti-war, anti-spy state beliefs and Congressman Massie might be the man for the job.

Is Massie’s Loss the End, or the Beginning of Something Bigger?A True Constitutionalist
The Republican platform (as the rest of the party professes, but does not adhere to) vows fidelity to individual liberty, fiscal responsibility, limited government, and constitutional principles. Massie has been one of the few lawmakers who has taken these promises seriously, and none of his colleagues from either party has defended the Constitution as fiercely. His voting record proves it; during his 14 years in Congress, he has accrued a lifetime score in The New American’s Freedom Index of 99 percent. That’s even better than Ron Paul’s track record. The libertarian icon amassed a lifetime score of 97 percent. His son, Rand Paul, another constitutional stalwart (and Massie ally), is riding a 96-percent freedom score. As Ron Paul noted Wednesday, in Massie “they’ve taken somebody who had the best voting record [and] turned him into a monster.”Massie is the kind of ideal legislator the Founders prescribed. He has fought to bring about some semblance of fiscal sanity on Capitol Hill. He built an electronic debt counter and wears it to serve as a reminder of our perilous national debt. And he opposed Trump’s war with Iran because the president doesn’t have constitutional authority to launch a war without congressional permission. Massie has sponsored or supported legislation to protect privacy and freedom of commerce, to increase overall empowerment of the electorate, and to shutter unconstitutional agencies, including the Department of Education, USAID, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), and even the Federal Reserve.
He has also pointed out the foolishness of a country $38 trillion in debt doling out foreign aid and waging wars all over the planet. “Our empire will collapse if we keep sending our money to other countries,” he noted.

Thomas Massie is not one of those politicians. Massie knew his integrity could cost him his job, but that was a price he was willing to pay.
